<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate configuration tasks for establishing inter-communicable connection between a computer as a server and projectors as clients. <P>SOLUTION: When connection between a server 20 and projectors 301 to 30n are established, the projectors 301 to 303 which can be connected are retrieved first with communication commands by broadcast communication of UDP, then the projector 301 to be connected is selected, and the connection is established while an IP address is set to the projector 301. Consequently, a user can easily obtain inter-communicable connection environment between the server 20 and the projector 301, and image data or the like is input and output with the communication commands of TCP/IP, so that reliable transmission becomes possible. Further, by performing authentication using a keyword which is projected and displayed when the connection is established, it becomes possible to prevent an outsider from illegally accessing to the projector 301. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
