<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase linearity of receiver components while minimizing adverse effect upon the battery life. <P>SOLUTION: A wireless communication device 100 may include a component 116 having linearity dependent upon a bias and a processor 108 configured to change the bias in response to the detection of a connection between the wireless communication device and a high-capacity power source 102.
