PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a near-infrared resonance pressure-sensitive adhesive composition and a near-infrared resonance pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet that has high near-infrared shielding performance, and shows favorable adhesion to material such as glass and has superior durability so that it can be easily peeled from an adhered object without cohesion failure or interface breakage even used under a high temperature environment or a high temperature and humid environment for a long period of time.

SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition includes: a resin; an epoxy-based crosslinking agent; and a diimmonium salt-based compound. The mass ratio of the content of the epoxy-based crosslinking agent relative to the content of the diimmonium salt-based compound exceeds 0.009 and is less than 0.061.
