Disclosed are a telescopic crawler chassis and engineering machinery therewith. The telescopic crawler chassis comprises a left crawler frame (2), a right crawler frame (3), a base seat (1), a left telescopic oil cylinder (18), a right telescopic oil cylinder (19), left sliding cross-members (5, 21) and right sliding cross-members (7, 22), wherein the telescopic oil cylinders (18, 19) are mounted between the base seat and the left crawler frame; the base seat is provided with a hollow sliding seat (4); and one end of the sliding cross-members (5, 21, 7, 22) is fixedly coupled to the crawler frame, the other end thereof being movably inserted into the hollow sliding seat, and the right sliding cross-member also being inserted into the hollow portion of the left sliding cross-member. Changing or converting the state of the engineering machinery is more convenient, and the moving and operating stability of the whole machinery are higher, safer and more reliable.
