The purpose of the present invention is to provide a near infrared blocking film having excellent durability and film pliability, a high visible light transmittance, and excellent near infrared blocking capability, and to provide a near infrared blocking body having the near infrared blocking film. The present invention relates to a near infrared blocking film having an optical interference film that is formed by alternately laminating, on a base material, a high refractive index layer comprising a first water-soluble polymer and first metal oxide particles and a low refractive index layer comprising a second water-soluble polymer and second metal oxide particles, wherein the first metal oxide particles are particles obtained by coating titanium oxide particles with a silicon-containing hydroxide. The present invention also relates to a near infrared blocking body obtained by disposing the near infrared blocking film on at least one surface of a substrate. |
