The invention relates to a device for producing thick insulation, characterized by a collapsible device that optimizes the volume to be stored and transported. Said device, which is constituted by the assembly of subassemblies (1), (2), (3) and (4), is positively connected to the structural element (17) to be insulated, and includes an outer cladding substrate (1), an air gap, and a thick space for receiving unbonded fibrous insulation. The bending moment generated by the significant offset between the outer cladding and the structure is taken up by a three-dimensional device in intersecting planes. The invention further enables the insulation to be replaced over the lifespan of the structure. The device according to the invention enables thick insulation to be provided on old or new reinforced concrete structures having simple or expandable forms. |
