<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus allowing stable operation of a power switch with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with an external power supply take-in part 6 provided with a socket 5 for connecting a power cable; a power supply substrate 7 electrically connected to the external power supply take-in part 6; and the power switch 8 capable of performing on/off operation of the power supply substrate 7.
