PURPOSE: A brake device of an electro-hydraulic brake system for a vehicle is provided to enhance fuel efficiency by supporting regenerative braking, to ensure stable pedal feeling while braking, and to improve the stability of braking. CONSTITUTION: A brake device of an electro-hydraulic brake system for a vehicle comprises a housing(110), a master cylinder(120), an input rod(115), a reservoir(140), a simulator(130), a pedal displacement sensor(150), and a hydraulic control unit(200). The housing comprises a boosting chamber and a simulation chamber(111). The master cylinder comprises a first piston and a second piston(122) for equipping two hydraulic circuits and generates hydraulic power by the pressure of the boosting chamber. The input rod is arranged on the same shaft as the master cylinder inside the housing in order to forwardly move along with the pedal effort of a driver. The reservoir is combined in the top of the master cylinder for storing oil. The simulator is connected to the simulator chamber and provides the reaction force of a pedal. The pedal displacement sensor senses the displacement of the pedal. The hydraulic control unit is connected to the reservoir for generating the hydraulic power. |
