PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a photo ornament using a fossil wood is provided to improve the exterior appearance of a product. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a photo ornament comprises a step of cutting and tailoring a fossil wood into a specific size; and a step of printing a picture on the surface of the fossil wood. The cutting and tailoring step additionally comprises a step of smoothly trimming the surface of the cut fossil wood; a step of impregnating the fossil wood into an etching solution; and a step of washing the fossil wood. The etching solution is manufactured by adding 18-22 parts by weight of nitric acid and 9-11 parts by weight of hydrofluoric acid based on 63-77 parts by weight of water.
