PURPOSE: An air tire is provided to improve limited turning movement with a balance in an icy road. CONSTITUTION: An air tire comprises an outer shoulder main groove(3), an inner shoulder main groove(4), an outer center main groove(5), an inner center main groove(6), outer shoulder horizontal grooves(7) of a plurality of lines, inner shoulder horizontal grooves(8) of a plurality of lines, outer middle horizontal grooves(9) of a plurality of lines, center horizontal grooves(10) of a plurality of lines, and inner middle horizontal grooves(11) of a plurality of lines. The outer shoulder main groove is successively spread at an outmost position of a vehicle in a tire periphery direction. The inner shoulder main groove is successively spread at an inmost position of the vehicle in the tire periphery direction. The outer center main groove is successively spread at the position between a tire line(C) and the outer shoulder main groove in the tire periphery direction. The inner center main groove is successively spread at the position between the tire line and the inner shoulder main groove in the tire periphery direction. The outer shoulder horizontal groove is spread from the outer shoulder main groove by passing through a ground connecting unit(Te). The outer middle horizontal groove is spread by connecting the outer shoulder main groove and the outer center main groove. The inner middle horizontal groove is spread by connecting the inner center main groove and the inner shoulder main groove. |
