PURPOSE: A device for identifying POI(Point Of Interest) and a method thereof are provided to identify the POI by using location information and activity information. CONSTITUTION: A communication interface communicates with a location processor. The communication interface transmits activity information and location information to the location processor. The activity information is related to the usage of a mobile device(120). The location information is related to a location of the mobile device.
