A brushless DC motor having a stator 240 and a rotor 254 pivotably arranged inside the stator 230, the stator 230 including a plurality of windings 232 and a plurality of electrically conductive terminals arranged on a periphery of the stator 240 and extending substantially parallel to the axis, wherein each said terminal is adapted to be connected to at least one of said windings 232 and to a power source 108. The stator windings 232 may be connected in a delta configuration by electrically coupling adjacent terminals of first and second windings, second and third windings, and third and first windings at three connection points. A baffle 236 may be provided in parallel and adjacent to the stator 240, the baffle 236 including at least one conductive routing or stamping 602 to facilitate electrically coupling the windings 232 in at least one of a delta or a wye configuration.
