Vinyl, allyl and n- or i-propenyl esters of unsaturated aliphatic monocarboxylic acids are made from the corresponding acetates by heating with the methyl, ehtyl or i-propyl ester of the unsaturated acid in presence of an alkoxide of Ti or Zr. Exemplified products are allyl acrylate and methacrylate.
