A power supply circuit for an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) and a method for driving the same are provided to reduce a motor torque linearly by driving a starting of a vehicle for a predetermined time after the starting of the vehicle is switched off. A power supply circuit for an ECU includes an ECU(122), a regulator(130), a voltage division circuit(140), an ECU voltage supply maintaining line(150). The ECU performs an electronic control of a vehicle and has a digital signal output port for outputting a digital signal. The regulator is coupled between a battery and the ECU, and converts a main power provided from the battery into an ECU driving voltage for driving the ECU. The regulator supplies the converted power to the ECU. The voltage division circuit is coupled to an enable terminal of the regulator, and provides an IGN power to the enable terminal of the regulator. The ECU voltage supply maintaining line is coupled between a digital signal output port of the ECU and the enable terminal of the regulator. The ECU voltage supply maintaining line provides the digital signal outputted from the digital signal output port of the ECU to the enable terminal of the regulator. |
