Adjusting the stiffness in the stator end winding of an electrical machine

An electrical machine (1) is presented. The electrical machine (1) includes a stator (2) having atleast one winding (3), and a mechanical assembly (4) acting on the winding (3) for providing a radial force at the winding (3) for controlling a stiffness of the winding (3).
