The present invention is to a detergent composition comprising an anionic surfactant system, wherein the anionic surfactant system comprises;
i) An alkyl sulfate surfactant of formula R 1 -O-SO 3 - M + , with R 1 being a linear or branched, substituted or unsubstituted, optionally alkoxylated, C 10 -C 16 alkyl and with M + being a proton or a cation which provides charge neutrality, and
ii) A linear or branched, substituted or unsubstituted C 10 -C 16 alcohol ethoxylate sulfate surfactant having an average degree of ethoxylation of from 0.5 to 3 having a proton or a cation which provides charge neutrality. |
