A scan, for example positron emission tomography (PET) may contain an anomalous amount of tracer via infiltration through an injection site. This may be identified based on a threshold of activity or standardized uptake value (SUV). Segmenting using an isocontour allows determination of total activity in the segmented infiltration region. This is subtracted from total injected dose in a new SUV calculation. |
