A closure for a container or a fluid outlet comprises: a retainer 14 to engage a region of the interior surface of the container or outlet; an actuator16 to make the retainer to engage the region; a cap housing 18 movable between a first position in which the actuator may be operated and a second position in which operation of the cap housing is prevented; and a lock 20 moveable between an unlocked position in which movement of the cap housing is allowed and a locked position in which movement of the cap housing is prevented. Also claimed is a closure as above in which the retainer comprises a hollow flexible member and the actuator comprises another hollow flexible member inside the retainer, and the actuator is engaged by an operation ring 26 that moves the actuator axially in response to a rotational or push movement of the operation ring. |
