A printing method for use in fabrication of an electronic unit comprising using a first print-head arrangement to print portions of a composition at a first pitch along a line of regularly repeating structural features 106; and using a second print-head arrangement to print portions of the composition at a second pitch along each of the lines 106; such that the first and second pitches together produce a beating pattern 206s along each of the lines 106, having a beating wavelength λ3 matched to the interval of the regularly repeating structural feature. Also disclosed is a computer program for controlling the above print head arrangements and a printing apparatus comprising the above print head arrangements. Also disclosed is an electronic device comprising one or more lines of regularly repeating features 106, wherein material is deposited to form a beating pattern 206s as above. |
