PURPOSE: A control channel allocation method and an apparatus for the method are provided to efficiently allocate the control channel in a wireless communication system supporting a carrier merge and to solve the vagueness/blocking which is able to happen when allocating the control channel. Moreover, the control channel allocation method and the apparatus for the method are provided to efficiently perform a blind decoding and efficiently comprise a search space. CONSTITUTION: A first search channel exists for a control channel without the carrier indication information, includes a control channel candidate set, and is monitored on a first carrier. A second search space exists for the control channel with the carrier indication information, includes the control channel candidate set, and is monitored on a second carrier(S1610). If a terminal is set to monitor a plurality of control channel candidates comprising an identical RNTI(Radio Network Temporary Identifier), an identical information size, and an identical first CCE(Control Channel Element) in the first search space and the second search space, a base station transmits the control channel only through the first search space on the first carrier(S1620).
