The present invention refers to a pharmaceutical composition which comprises a hydroalcoholic extract of Salvia elegans plant, commonly called Pineapple sage. Said composition presents ursolic acid as a predominant compound, this latter element being useful for treating anxiety disorders as well as high blood pressure and comorbidity in both.
