The invention relates to a shower screen (4 figure 1) comprising a first panel 16 having a first edge 30, and a second panel 12 having a second edge 20, wherein the first and second edges are adjacent one another. A hinge assembly 18 connects the first and second panels across the first and second edges. A seal member 34 is attached to the first panel edge to provide a seal along the adjacent panel edges. The hinge assembly comprises clamping means 40, 42 for clamping the edge region of the first and second panels, and a pivot 58 for connecting the clamping means about which the panels rotate. The panels may rotate 270 degrees such that the panels may lie parallel to each other. The clamping means may have a recess 80 proximate the first edge of the first panel to receive a gripping portion 36 of the seal. |
