<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of racks and a shielding object etc. when the racks are vibrated due to an earthquake etc. while suitably maintaining cooling efficiency of an air conditioner. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This air conditioning system 100 for a computer room includes the racks 3 for equipment storage installed sandwiching a passage 4 and the air conditioner, and cooling air blown out from the air conditioner is made to flow from the passage 4 to the top face of the floor and cools equipment within the racks 3 for equipment storage. Then, the cooling air is made to flow in a space above the racks 3 for equipment storage and is sucked again to the air conditioner. The air conditioning system 100 for the computer room further includes an upper shielding part for shielding the upper side of the passage 4 sandwiched between the racks 3 for equipment storage and a pair of both end shielding parts 30 for shielding both ends of the passage 4. The both end shielding part 30 includes: a beam part 31 stretched between the racks 3 for equipment storage installed sandwiching the passage 4; a shielding body 32 mounted to the beam part 31 and shielding the both ends of the passage 4 so as to enable opening/closing; and a buffer mechanism having an elastic member and buffering relative displacement between the beam part 31 and the racks 3 for equipment storage over which the beam part 31 is stretched.
