<p>PURPOSE: A portable terminal capable of inputting Korean characters and a keypad display method are provided to display vowels which are inputted by next touch of a first vowel key and a second vowel key when at least one of the first vowel key and the second vowel key is touched. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen unit(110) includes a display area and a keypad area. The touch screen unit displays a keypad on the keypad area. The keypad arranges vowels of Korean characters, a first vowel key, and a second vowel key. The touch screen unit generates a touch signal by sensing touch of the keypad. When at least one of the first vowel key and the second vowel key is touched, the vowels, which are inputted by next touch of the first vowel key and the second vowel key, are displayed.</p> |
