An actuator cap for a valved aerosol dispensing container comprises a member 11 having a tubular wall 15 provided with a bead 29 which engages valve mounting cup b and an actuator member mounted within the member 11. 'The actuator member comprises a finger actuator part 48 and a hollow hub 46 which sealingly engages valve stem g and communicates with a nozzle outlet part 41. The part 48 is provided with a depending tab 53 having a notch which may engage a latch seat 35 on wall 15. A tie 58 extends from the part 48 and has an enlarged end 59 which may engage in a slot 37 formed in the wall 15 below seat 35. With the tie end 59 engaged in slot 37 the tab 53 cannot be raised clear of seat 35 to allow depression of part 48 and actuation of the container valve. The tie 58 must be severed to allow tab disengagement. The cap is of plastics material, e.g. polyethylene. |
