An over driving circuit for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is provided to simplify peripheral circuit of an over driving circuit by executing over driving using gate pulses. An over driving circuit for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a differentiator(31), a clipper(32), an adder(33), and a gate pulse generator. The differentiator differentiates gate-out enable signals and generates positive/negative pulse trains. The clipper generates positive pulse trains by clipping the negative pulse train among bidirectional pulse trains from the differentiator. The adder adds gate high voltages and the positive pulse train. The gate pulse generator switches the signal outputted from the adder for every gate pulse period and outputs modulated gate pulses. |
