<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure good pedal operability, by providing a desired boosting ratio to input, even when a brake assist is operated by an electric actuator. <P>SOLUTION: An input piston 22 for imparting input thrust from an input rod 9 interlocking with a brake pedal 8 and a booster piston 21 for imparting booster thrust from the electric actuator 40 with an electric motor 41 as a driving source, are relatively movably arranged, and both pistons 21 and 22 are held in a neutral position of the relative movement in ordinary time by a spring 34. While confirming a relative displacement quantity of both pistons 21 and 22 by a potentiometer 45, the electric motor 41 is controlled so that the relative displacement quantity becomes an optional predetermined value, and at this time, reaction of brake liquid pressure acting on the input piston 22 is offset by energizing force of the spring 34, and the desired large boosting ratio is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
