<p>The boot (1) has an opening (17) for receiving a wearer's foot. Reinforcement (40) comprises a lateral wall (42) and a medial wall extending less than entirety of length of the boot and extending forwardly to a plumb with an instep region. A transverse linkage (50) tightens an instep zone. The linkage is extended from a lateral portion (6) to a medial portion (7). The linkage comprises a subdivision e.g. upper subdivision, extending along longitudinal direction of the boot over distance between 25 percentages and 70 percentage of the length of the boot.</p> |
