PURPOSE: An asynchronous joint detecting method and a device thereof are provided to detect a data symbol included in a data packet which is asynchronously received by a data reception device. CONSTITUTION: A reception unit(410) receives data packets which do not synchronize with a plurality of data transmission devices. A pulse shaping unit(420) applies a pulse shaping filter for the received data packets. An LR(Likelihood Ratio) calculation unit(430) calculates LR by considering a waveform of the pulse shaping filter for each of data symbols included in the data packet receiving the pulse shaping filter. A detecting unit(440) detects the data symbols based on the calculated LR.
