发明名称 Improvements relating to direct sale display cases
摘要 640,534. Display cases. JANTSCH, H. Dec. 3, 1947, No. 31930. Convention date, Aug. 10, 1942. [Class 116] A sales display case consists of a baseboard in conjunction with a sliding frame by which goods on the base-board can be drawn forward, the sliding frame being operated manually. The base-board 1 fits into grooves 4 in the frame 2 and has battens 6 which fit over the shelf supporting the display case. The front board 5 of the frame serves as a handle by which the frame can be drawn forward and may carry a label or nameplate. The frame is drawn forward when the front row of goods has been sold and the back board 8 of the frame then pushes forward the goods on the base-board so that the second row of goods takes the place of the first row and the third row that of the second. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also filling the display cases by the use of U members in which goods are packed in the store room and which are then placed in the cases and suspending goods from straps fixed across the tops of the sliding frames. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
