A physical quantity measuring apparatus utilizing reflectometry includes a laser emitting measuring light, a first fiber between the laser and a coupler, a second fiber with one end connected with the coupler and another referential reflecting end, a third fiber connected with the coupler, a Bragg sensor at a third fiber core, a fourth fiber connected with the coupler, a photodiode connected with the coupler via the fourth fiber and detecting reflected light from the sensor and reference light from the referential end, a controller detecting an interference modulation between the Bragg reflected light and the reference light, an incidence part on the first or both the second and third fibers and inputting the measuring light to two orthogonal polarization axes of both the second and third fibers, and an optical path length adjuster on the third fiber. |
