METHOD FOR DETERMINING COLD RADIUS OF CURVATURE

PURPOSE: A cold curvature radius determination method is provided to determine an optimized cold curvature radius for cold molding by considering the design curve, thereby increasing work productivity and improving the degree of molding. CONSTITUTION: The whole curvature radius, which exists in each frame of a design curve plate, is calculated from the forming information of a design curve(S10). The maximum curvature radius and the minimum curvature radius are determined based on the whole curvature radius(S20). An optimized cold curvature radius is determined by considering similarities and a penalty option which confirms whether or not a cold curve invades the design curve in the area of the two curvature radius(S30).
