PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for parking control are provided to efficiently put on the brake of a vehicle when there is possibility that the vehicle collides with an obstacle as moving according to the parking control. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for parking control comprises an inclined surface determination part(120) to determine whether the road is inclined or not when a braking ready signal is inputted for the vehicle which is driving according to packing control; and a braking control part(130). If the road is determined as a non-inclined surface, the braking control part configures a first timing value with a braking start time, which is a distance value from the vehicle to an adjacent obstacle at the moment of needing to apply braking power, and a first pressure value with braking pressure. If the road is determined as an inclined surface, the braking control part configures a second timing value with the said braking start time and a second pressure value with the said braking pressure, and transmits the first pressure value or the second pressure value to a brake device when detecting the braking start time configured as the first timing value or the second timing value.
