PURPOSE: A frequency mixer of an RF receiver is provided to perform frequency conversion either direct conversion or low-IF conversion and to be appropriate to high density integration. CONSTITUTION: A conversion selective frequency mixer includes an I synthesis unit(110) mixing I high frequency signal group with a local signal group, synthesizing and providing to an I internal node group. The conversion selective frequency mixer includes a Q synthesis unit(130) mixing a Q high frequency signal group with a local signal group and providing to an internal node group in which the Q frequency signal group is delayed by delayed phase difference with respect to the I high frequency signal group. The conversion selective frequency mixer includes an I operational amplification unit(150) operational amplifying the internal I node group signal and providing to the I output node group. The conversion selective frequency mixer includes a Q operational amplification unit(170) operational amplifying the internal Q node group signal and providing to the Q output node group. The conversion selective frequency mixer includes a cross linkage unit coupling the Q output node group to the internal I node group and the I output node group to the internal Q node group according to activation of the conversion selective signal, and coupling the Q output node group to the internal I node group and the I output node group to the internal Q node group are undone according to deactivation of the conversion selective signal.
