PURPOSE: A photovoltaic device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to obtain a high efficiency photoelectromotive device at low cost and in a short time by manufacturing two photoelectromotive devices at one time in a manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor substrate(110) including a first and a second surface are prepared. A base part and an emitter part are formed in the first surface. An insulating layer(160) is formed on the base part and the emitter part. A via hole is formed on the insulating layer in order to partly expose the base part and the emitter part.
