PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition with tripeptides containing cysteine-methionine is provided to enhance whitening effect and to reduce production costs using a small peptide. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains 0.001-30 wt% of tripeptides containing cysteine-methionine which are one or more tripeptides selected among ACM, CCM, NCM, PCM, SCM, TCM, VCM, CME, CMG, CMP, CMT, and CMV. The cosmetic composition is manufactured in the form of a toner, a lotion, a cream, a foundation, an essence, a gel, a pack, a foam cleansing, a soap, or a whitening ointment.
