PURPOSE: A roof assembly for a vehicle is provided to prevent a roof assembly from rattling and to keep closure members at a predetermined lateral position by stably guiding the closure members according to a nonparallel guide. CONSTITUTION: A roof assembly for a vehicle comprises a pair of guide rails, one or more closure members(3,11), a pair of sliding members, a biasing device, and a synchronizing device. A pair of guide rails nonparallelly extends by keeping a predetermined distance from each other At least one closure member is adjustable for partially opening the opening(1) of a vehicle roof and is equipped with two opposed lateral parts which is adjacent to guide rails. A pair of sliding members is oppositely formed in the lateral part of the closure member to each other and is slidably connected to the closure member in the lateral direction. The biasing device laterally biases the sliding members with respect to the closure member. The synchronizing device equalizes the movement of the sliding members.
