<p>PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a solar cell and the solar cell are provided to form a light absorption layer having an appropriate gallium concentration by performing two gallium deposition processes. CONSTITUTION: A light absorption layer is formed by successively performing first to fifth processes. A first process is performed at the substrate temperature of 300 to 500>= to deposit Se and Ga. A second process is performed at the substrate temperature of 300 to 500>= to deposit evaporates Se and In. A third process is performed at the substrate temperature of 550 to 630>= to deposit Se and Cu. A fourth process is performed at the substrate temperature of 550 to 630>= to deposit Se and In. A fifth process is performed at the substrate temperature of 550 to 630>= to deposit Se and Ga.
