PURPOSE: An air cavity vessel using an expandable wall is provided to economically sail a ship according to sailing speed or exterior environmental conditions by freely forming an air chamber in a flat surface at the bottom of the ship with a corrugated barrier wall installed under the bottom of the ship. CONSTITUTION: An air cavity ship using an expandable barrier wall comprises an opening(10), a corrugated barrier wall, and an air chamber. The opening is connected to the bottom inner side(120) of a ship along the circumference of a flat surface(110) at the bottom of the ship. The corrugated barrier wall is expanded by air to be located within the opening. The corrugated barrier wall is expanded and projected from the flat surface at the bottom of the ship through the opening by supplying the air to form the air chamber. The air chamber is downwardly opened from the flat surface at the bottom of the ship. The air filling the corrugated barrier wall is discharged to contract the corrugated barrier wall so that the corrugated barrier wall can be restored through the opening, thereby being removed from the air chamber. |
