<p>PURPOSE: A character input device and a method thereof are provided to rapidly input characters and to minimize an error using an interface that an input button is arranged in a radial shape. CONSTITUTION: Input buttons(12) display and receive input units which comprise characters. Function buttons(11) perform an additional function which completes the characters and sentences by combining the input units. A touch screen arranges the input buttons and the function buttons in the center or in a place where the same distance is separated from the center. A control unit receives the input units and an additional function command from the input buttons and the function buttons by one touch and drag method. The control unit completes the characters by combining the input units and displays the characters on the touch screen.</p> |
