PURPOSE: A bovine muscle-specific biomarker and a primer set are provided to identify genes in cow by regions. CONSTITUTION: A bovine muscle-specific biomarker contains CV980409.1-A:r gene. The gene has a base of sequence number 4. A primer set for detecting the biomarker contains a primer pair of sequence numbers 13 and 14 and is used for detecting the gene. A method for determining a bovine region comprises: a step of isolating muscle stem cells from a subject sample and culturing the stem cells; a step of differentiating the stem cells into muscle cells or adipocytes; a step of isolating RNA from the stem cells, muscle cells, or adipocytes; a step of preparing cDNA using the RNA; a step of performing real-time PCR; and a step of analyzing real-time PCR. |
