PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a battery is provided to prevent consumption of general cell for inspiring welding state and assembling state and to prevent whole productivity degradation. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a battery comprises: a step(S10) of preparing an imitation cell in which an imitation electrode is formed; a tap welding step(S20) welding a tap to the imitation electrode; an examination step(S30) examining welding state of an imitation cell the tap is welded. The imitation cell is manufactured to have same shape and weight with general cell. The imitation electrode is formed to have a size the welding of the tap is possible in a specific region. In the region of the imitation cell, settlement groove is formed.
