PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to intensify water currents when washing by being equipped with an impeller at the center of a pulsator and to double the performance with wind-dewatering when dewatering. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine includes a washing tub, a pulsator, a driving part, and an impeller. Washing water is supplied to the washing tub and the pulsator is rotated by the driving of a motor in the washing machine. When the pulsator is rotated, a blade part, formed at the upper side of the pulsator, stirs the water and laundry of an inner tub. The pulsator(120) is equipped with the impeller. The impeller is prepared at the center of the pulsator, and the pulsator is equipped with an accommodating groove part(125) at the center to accommodate the impeller. The impeller is rotated many times faster than the pulsator by a rotation increasing part(150) increasing the rotation of the impeller. The rotation increasing part includes a housing(152) prepared at the pulsator, a rotation component(154) prepared at the inside of the housing and rotated by the rotation of the driving part, a coupled driving shaft(156) rotated by the rotation component and connected to the impeller, and a power transfer part(160) increasing the rotation speed of the rotation component and transferring to the coupled driving shaft. |
