PURPOSE: A red pepper powder sterilizing and drying device for effectively drying red pepper powder is provided to add an ultraviolet sterilization function in a typical red pepper powder drying device. CONSTITUTION: Annular rings(5, 6) works in rolling motion, and are installed on the upper side of an idle roller. A jaw drum(7) is combined to the annular rings. A chain gear is coupled with a rotating shaft of a decelerate motor(9) installed on the upper side of a base frame. A drying room(12) is formed inside of a drying drum. An inflow screw(14) is installed on the inner circumference surface of a drying room entrance. A discharge screw(16) is installed on the inner circumference surface of a drying room exit. Guide plates(17) are installed on the inner circumference of the drying room with a certain interval. A hot air supplier(20) supplies the certain temperature of hot air into the entrance of the drying room. An inclined chute(21) is installed at an inlet chamber. A feed screw(23) and a decelerate motor(24) supply red pepper powder(22) to the inclined chute. An inclined exhaust passage(25) is installed at an outlet chamber and discharges the sterilized and dried red pepper powder. A exhaust fan(29) and a filter(30) are installed in an exhaust pipe. A main body(32) is surrounded by an insulating material(31). A heating chamber(33) is formed in the main body. An air-duct(35) supplies the outside air to the heating chamber. Support sticks(40) are fixed at the both end of the inlet chamber(18) and the outlet chamber(19). A triangular housing(41) is installed at the support sticks. |
