PURPOSE: A transformer diagnosing apparatus by the harmonics analysis is provided to prevent the transformer failure. CONSTITUTION: The PT sensor(11) or the CT sensor(12) measures the voltage or current by being fixed to the ground line grounding the container of the transformer or the connecting line connecting the neutral line to the ground. A data process module(22) transmits the measured voltage or current signal to the analysis apparatus, and analyze the waveform pattern by applying the FFT waveform analysis algorithm. The waveform pattern showing up in the insulation damage is extracted from all kinds of the analyzed waveform patterns and the extracted waveform pattern and the insulation damage waveform pattern stored in memory are compared.
