PURPOSE: A screw compressor is provided to prevent the unbalanced force in the rotation of a rotor shaft, thereby directly reducing the vibration of the rotor shaft itself. CONSTITUTION: A screw compressor(1) comprises a screw rotor(41), a screw rotor(41), a motor shaft(7), a motor, and a dust-proof device unit. The screw casing receives the screw rotor. The motor shaft is formed into one body with the screw rotor and cantilever-supports in a screw rotor side. The dust-proof device unit includes a weight(8) of a plate shape in which arranged coaxially with the motor shaft. Natural frequencies of the weight are identical to that of a rotor shaft.
