PURPOSE: A molding device and method is provided to minimize the surface contact of a pouch exterior when molding a pouch exterior, thereby improving the molding quality. CONSTITUTION: A molding device and method comprises a mounting part(100) in which the edge part of a plate-shaped pouch exterior(10) is mounted; a body part(200) which has an inner space and seals the inner space when the pouch exterior is mounted in the mounting part; a vacuum part(300) which forms a vacuum state in the sealed inner space by absorbing air through the inlet of the body part; and a pressurizing part pressurizing at least one bent part of the pouch exterior when the vacuum state is formed.
