DEVICE CONTROLLER WITH CONNECTABLE TOUCH USER INTERFACE

PURPOSE: A device controller including a connection type user interface is provided to connect external input/output devices to a medical technology system as a UI(User Interface) for controlling the medical technology system by considering a context of an application. CONSTITUTION: An external input/output device(10) includes a touch screen UI(100) and an adaptor module(11). A medical technology device(30) is operated and controlled through a computer support application(20) exchanging data with a control module(21). An interface(SS) between the adaptor module and the control module exchanges control data for controlling the medical technology device through the touch screen UI of the external input/output device. A control system includes a detecting module(24) designated to automatically detect the external input/output device in an interface area of the control module. If the external input/output device is detected, the detecting module automatically registers the external input/output device.
