PURPOSE: A locking device for water shutoff is provided to facilitate the management of the locking device because only specific administrator can open and close a locking valve with a handle part. CONSTITUTION: A locking device for water shutoff comprises a water valve body(20) and a handle part(30). The water valve body and the handle part are separated. The water valve body is a ball valve. A spindle head(26) is arranged at the top of a spindle(24) serving as a ball. An operation preventing part(27) surrounds the exterior of the spindle head to form a gap. The handle part has an inner rod(32) of which inside is empty. A head fastening part(33) is formed on the interior of the insertion rod. The insertion rod is inserted in the operation preventing part and the gap of the spindle head to control the supply of water.
