PARKING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A parking system for a vehicle is provided to improve ride comfort by preventing shock and vibration due to torsional energy from being delivered to the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A parking rod(10) is connected to a detent lever mounted inside a transmission housing(3). The parking rod moves rectilinearly. A parking sprag(20) is hinge-combined to the inside of the transmission housing. The parking sprag surface contacts with a parking cam(13) for rotation. An engaging part(21) is integrally formed at one end of the parking sprag. A push rod(23) is integrally formed at the other end of the parking sprag. An anchor part(30) is fixed at the inside of the transmission housing. A drum part(40) is formed at one side of a parking gear. A band member(50) is mounted on the outer periphery of the drum part. Both end parts of the band member is respectively connected to the push rod and the anchor part.
